Populate Header From Barcode

Hi,

I am currently running a new robotic cell that scans a QR code to know what program to run on the CMM.
When the robot scans the QR code it stores in a .txt file.

Is there a way to have Calypso use information from that .txt file to populate the header of the report? ie. Lot Number, Serial Number?
