I will slice through the model in two places 90 deg apart and create four 2d curves. Scan up the ID, across the cone and over the top (lots of points/small dia probe) recall the curve points that lay on the cone surface (into 2d lines). [Cl...] Posted November 28, 2018 Share Posted November 28, 2018 When you create the curves, use a lot of points in the initial creation. Don't triple the nominal points after its created. That way you can right click on the curve and show the exact point numbers to recall into each 2d line.
