[mo...]
Hi, I would like to add an attachment (PDF file or Picture) to the program - the document contains part placement information. how can I do that?
[Ja...]
In the menu bar, go to [Plan] and select [User-definable measurement run info from CNC start]. We usually just take a picture and use MSPaint to add placement information and then select the picture from the menu above. When a user runs the program, they select the [User Information] button after clicking [Run]. This will show them the picture that you selected. [Ja...]
You can create a batch file that will automatically open your user info when you open the program. see attachmentBatch file for user information.pdf
[Jo...]
It's a good method to pop up a file with workpiece placement information automatically when load an existing measurement plan.External batch file can do it,but actually we have thousands of measurement plans. It is a hard work to change the placement file dictionary for every single plan. I edit a "Location.pptx" file, and creat a subfolder in actual inspection folder as a name "Documentation".I place ".pptx" in it. Change the batch file codes to search current actual inspection folder to open "Location.pptx" file.
