So we have made a program using some guidance from Ryan Stauffer's powerpoint how to measure gears without gear pro. In the powerpoint we use the circular pitch function. So we are stuck on where to get the tolerance's in the circular pitch characteristic. We have searched all through the B92.1-1990 standard an no luck. [Ri...] Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 According to ANSI B92.1:1996-07 Fp = 0.091 Nothing else has a class tolerance, so it would have to be individually toleranced, but Fp (Cumulative Pitch Error) is all encompassing, so that's probably why it doesn't list the others.
