More Vast XXT Questions

I have 4x85mm Stylus System and I've notice that the XXT is not setup similar to the Vast XT as far as clearance of the Base Alignment when it goes to change angles. For example, I am measuring features rotate at A90B90 and when the feature is complete and clears the part to switch to another angle, it does not move to an area of my liking and wants to crash into my Anodized Plates because it is that long.

How can I adjust or fix this?

Normally, whenever an index of the RDS is required, it will go up to a height equal to the tip of the probe in the down position will be at the top of the +Z clearance plane. Check your +Z clearance plane.

Also, if you to an index inside of the strategy, it will NOT go up. You need to add a Clearance Data in from of the strategy with the new index angle.

Not sure if this helps but this is where I'm starting.,

I have not used it, but I believe that Plan - Navigation - Rotate/Swivel Position
is what you need? Or a single position point above and clear of any obstructions.
I don't do things this was (have not had a reason to) but was told by a Zeiss
applications engineer that this was part his normal strategy.
