If I'm understanding correctly there is no reason these 3 methods shouldn't work 1) Paintbrush tool 2) Measurement Editor Features/ Geometry (Nominal Data)/ Workpiece Alignment 3) Resources/ Preassignment For New Features This last one you can preset which alignment you want without having to open the dialog box and choosing the Alignment pull down Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If I had to open each feature to find out the used alignment, i would change it then, there would be no use for paint brush. Prior to Marks post, I did not which features use which alignment.
