Removing tolerance for segments within a curve feature

Recently I've been asked to ignore the profile tolerance for specific sections of a contiguous, single-segment curve feature. Can I accomplish this with the 'Segment tolerances' option? It seems like I can modify the tolerance range, but not remove it outright. The end goal is for Calypso to only be evaluating the critical sections of the feature to the given tolerance, with the excluded sections there as a visual reference.

You can copy/paste your curve so you have two. Then, delete points from each curve so they are each different sections of the same feature. You can then apply different tolerances to different sections but using the Graphics Element, you can put them all on the same graph.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't this just remove the actuals? I still want to be able to see the point data for the whole curve form, just with specific bits excluded from the profile evaluation for that feature.
