[Da...]
Hello Guys. I am trying to write a proper program using threads measurements without PCM. These threads are not in the same positions every time. I would love to have something like: Message to operator "Check the form [form value showing up] if is more than 0.08 increase start angle by 90[start angle input parameter" or program can checks this itself and repeat measurement without operator interference. Is this possible at all ? I have a bad results but I know that this is affecting by form and I cannot calculate start position from face as they are on random positions so I ma looking for the best method. [Ro...]
I dont know if i completely understand your question, from what i gather you are dealing with a bolt circle that isnt constrained, and from part to part may vary. You may be able to have the operator take a manual point with the joystick button, say "put the probe tip in the center of the hole and hit the button on the top of the joystick", then using a simple formula set your nominals to the X&Y of the manual point? For the life of me i cant remember how to setup a manual point, i know its easy i just haven't done it in about 5 or 6 years. Am i even close? [Da...]
No. You misunderstood me. I am checking thread holes. Because they have been done manually the thread start position is not always in the same place so the form is no good.
