I believe when I see this pop up, I usually get a feature that is inverted.
Such as an OD will come in as an ID.

I get this all the time from one vendor's drawings. I believe the skin was drawn inverted. That is your picking inside when actually your picking the outside. Calypso sees this and flips it for you, (sometimes). When I draw lines on surfaces that have this window pop up I need to rotate the line 180 or it will try to probe it on the other side of the wall, (crash). I auto heal all my drawings. It's never helped, at least not for me.
