DuraMax Rotary table

Hi guys.

I just started using DuraMax with Rotary Table. I had no training at all. I did manage to write program and rotate the table to measure some angle holes but the software will not calculate them as does not where the table is. How can I calibrate this table etc to start with ?

I would suggest reaching out to your local distributor to inquire about Rotary Table training. I believe they bundle it with GearPro training.

Calling the 1-800 number will also help you a lot.

If all else fails, the Help file for Calypso is very detailed when it comes to setting up and using the Rotary Table.

In order to use the Rotary Table, you have to first define the "rough" RT position. 1st you need to measure the round plate of the RT (just a 4 point circle is fine, manually only). 2nd you need to go to Resources - RT functions - RT position. Now select the feature that you used to "rough" measure the RT.

After that, you will need to do an RT calibration (this defines the RT axis). There are multiple ways to do this (1 sphere, 2 sphere, Cylinder, and part), and this is where the Help file can greatly assist you. I don't recommend the 1 sphere as it is the least accurate.
