Adding the Vast XXT head to program offline

Hello,
My company just purchased a duramax CMM and it has the vast xxt head. I'll have more particulars later as it is still in the box. I am wondering how I get the probe info into the off line seat for the Vast XXT head. So I can program it offline as our CMM's are always tied up so programming real time is next to impossible. Right now all that is in the offline seat is the TP20 porbe head.

I am also using Calypso 2016 Service Pack 5 for the offline seat

You will need to create a corresponding machine tab - Extras > Settings > CMM and add a Duramax with the XXT.

how do I add the tab in? Right now it just says simulation

You shouldn't have to add another tab, just define the one you have. First go to Extras/Settings/CMM/Machine and select the machine you'll be programming for from the pull down tab, and then make sure the Measuring Volume is correct. Next, click on the Probe tab and select Zeiss Fixed Mounting/XXT (assuming it's not an RDS).

Hi Becky, It's identical to the RDS-XXT, except you'll select the Accura machine type.
