[Ru...] Posted August 22, 2018 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Last week I upgraded all seats of Calypso to 2018. Some online and offline seats. Since the update when I open a feature in the measurement plan a new window will appear with the default printout for the measurement plan. If I keep the default printout window open it won't happen but if I close it then open another feature it will appear again. This has never happened on any previous versions of Calypso and I can't find a way to stop it. Its pretty annoying. I checked and the only thing selected in the Multiple Printout option is the PiWeb Standard Protocol. Does anyone know why the default printout window is appearing when I open a feature or how to turn it off? This is happening on all seats. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure about 2018 but Default Printout will only pop up if you unchecked the "Background" option under Resources > Define Printout > Default Printout Tab. The trick is not close the window but minimize it. It will stay in the minimized mode until you maximize it again. Historically, the popping up of the default printout has had several faces. Earlier versions would either have it ON or OFF by default. I also remember the Background option was Global at one time. It's been non-global and in Background for many versions but maybe something has changed in 2018. Hope to find out later today. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guess I'll just have to keep that window minimized until there's an update that will hopefully fix this. Thanks for the replies. I thought was missing a simple on/off option somewhere. When I started with Calypso 3.4 the default printout was always on in the background, then I think in 5.0 it wasn't and now in 2018 it is back.
