[Me...]
I have a Eclipse machine and the head randomly starts dropping. Its only happened a few times recently, and restarting machine has fixed the issue. Air pressure seems okay. Any ideas of other causes?

[Ri...]
It could be the joysticks need to be calibrated. Call the Service Hotline for information about running that. It could be dirty scales but it's not likely. Never a bad idea to clean your scales though. It's worth a try. It could be the head is damaged or worn out. Is It the ST3 head? [Ri...]
I think your RST might need service. Call the 1800 number and ask for someone in service. They will be able to set up a connection to the controller if you have internet on the CMM computer. They will be looking to see what kind of signal the RST is putting out. While you have them on the phone ask them to walk you through calibrating the joysticks, it's good to know and worth a try. Also clean your scales with denatured alcohol and a link free wipe.
