Dropdowns "greyed out" in 2018 (Win 10)

Has anyone noticed this in Calypso 2018 on Windows 10?

Most of the dropdowns look like they're greyed out and inactive, but they aren't. This happens everywhere in the program (but nowhere else in Windows 10). I find that very irritating, because not all dropdowns look like this. In the CNC start window some are white and some are grey, but all are active.

Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Yes, but it also make other unwanted changes so its not worth it.. =)

What I had in mind was a some kind of user setting in Calypso, maybe even in Win 10.

I'm not aware of such user setting. It's inherited by the new gui of vw....

They are the same with Windows 7.

A lot of stuff has that kind of graphic update, the tabs along the top, even what you are viewing in the CAD window (Surfaces, Edges) have color to them now. I think it is an enhancement to make stuff easier to see.

I also like the Feature Display window a lot better in 2018.

It's just that I'm used to the classic convention: white is active, grey is inactive. Of course I can learn to accept a "dark white" 😉 , but to have 50 shades of white (yes I'm kidding) and only one "true grey" is a bit challenging.
