Bubble Print/Stamp Editor

Does anyone have much experience with stamp editor? Currently we bubble/balloon our dimensions using solid works but we recently purchased PiWeb SBS. Is there a way to automatically recognize print dimensions (auto balloon) inside Planner using stamp editor?

I can't say anything definitive as we don't have the full version of PiWeb, but judging by the PiWeb manual I doubt that is possible. If the drawing you load in the stamp editor is just a PNG file (as the manual says) there is no additional information that would tell PiWeb where to put the stamps.
Google tells me that some CAD solutions are able to save images with http://miba.juergen-riegel.net/ information included. If Solidworks is able to do this, this could be a start. But then you'd still need a connection between your Solidworks stamps and the dimensions in PiWeb. Otherwise PiWeb can't know what belongs together. And even if you'd have that connection, I bet the stamp editor would still be unable to evaluate the information and auto-stamp. Otherwise the manual would mention it, I believe.

Hi Harrison,
You can load a PNG file into the Stamp Editor and manually drop bubbles where your characteristics are. This allows you to use your drawing in a report and have the flags tie right to the drawing. It's not an automatic recognition, though.

Thank you for the feedback! I think for now the quickest way is going to be the auto recognition with Solid Works Inspection. However, it would be a nice addition if the stamp editor could auto balloon so we could just dimension everything in one location.

Nah, it's in the full version of PiWeb. I was also confused a little at first, thinking of Calypso Planner 😃
But then I saw a screenshot of PiWeb with an item "stamp editor".

Stamp editor is in PiWeb!

I'm still new at it and slowly working on becoming an expert at all PiWeb functions ( 😉 )

But from what I can see it's a great feature.
