[Cl...]
I have a part I need to report surface profile on. I use three 2d curves recalled into a FFS. If I apply filters/outliers to the curves they won't create, (they turn pink) When I uncheck filters/outliers they work fine. Any idea why this is happening? [To...]
I just tested it on my Planner seat and don't see an issue. How many points? What is your filter setting?
[Cl...]
200 points, length of curve .034 Speed .100 Both are default settings; Outlier - inside/outside 3 Filter - Gauss

[To...]
Got me. Try to determine if it is the filter or the outlier elimination setting that is causing the problem. Is your Number of Points at least 3 times the total number of points shown in the End Point value?
[Ow...]
In addition to Tom's suggestion, make sure you have the curve set to scan a preset distance before recording points (helps filters) and if you don't have room to go past or before the beginning, try creating two scans, one in one direction and the other in the other direction, overlapping the scan twice helps the filter remove any bogus points that are created at the beginning of each scan when the probe first starts. If noting works, measure it with single points (maybe reducing them to save time) and turn the filters off....
