[Ro...] Posted August 30, 2018 Share Posted August 30, 2018 Ok, to lighten up the room before a holiday (in Murica) weekend..... I just happened to notice what i believe is the most useless button in all of Calypso, but i could be wrong. When you open Calypso, on the pop up where you put in your User & Pass there is a "Memo" button, i've never pushed it before. Today i was feeling adventuristic and pushed it, and a box popped up that allows someone to write a note and make a "Drawring" if they choose. So my question is, when would i ever use this? Can't figure out how evasion equates to the one I want to use. 🤣 evasion noun an act or instance of escaping, avoiding, or shirking something: evasion of one's duty. the avoiding of an argument, accusation, question, or the like, as by a subterfuge: The old political boss was notorious for his practice of evasion. a means of evading; subterfuge; an excuse or trick to avoid or get around something: Her polite agreement was an evasion concealing what she really felt. [De...] Posted August 30, 2018 Share Posted August 30, 2018 Tom, Imagine you have to measure a cylinder on a part after the turning operation. Now in a subsequent operation a keyway is put in. Your new strategy is made to evade the keyway.. so there you have it - evasion strategy - so it sort of makes sense in some situations. That said, when have things ever been labeled right in Calypso?
