[Ra...]
I'm stumped. An automatic qualification program with a single stylus tool will change to the master probe, locate the sphere with the master, change to the tool-to-be-qualified, and then finish - printing the results from the previous run for the tool BUT the current result for the master. I can manually qualify the tool, but I cannot force Calypso to execute the qualification otherwise. Even "Execute Now" will not run the characteristic. Thoughts? [Gr...]
attached is the Start Measurement window on mine. is anything different from mine? (just establishing a base line, if this isn't it, I don't know the answer)pic6.jpg
[Ra...]
Yes. I use a clearance plane during automatic qualifications, not position points. Therefore, I have a "base" alignment - not a "Current."
[Gr...]
Here is my measurement plan comment: The qualification sphere should be 45 degrees clockwise from the +y direction in the CMM system alignment. The sphere location MUST be manually redefined BEFORE starting this measurement plan. The speed must be at 100%. In the Start Measurement window, the Navigate - Feature To Feature MUST be on "Use Position Points Only", and the alignment MUST be on "Current Alignment". Try it this way, and see if it works. Whether it works or not, we will get a new clue.
