Linear Accuracy and Repeatability Standard??

Hello,

My Company deals with a lot of Laser measurements and Linear type applications. Past "standard" if you would call it was used as TIR and other has been used as the norm " +/_" . However they would like to find exactly what the standard is for Linear Accuracy and the repeatability of the measurement's.

Would anyone know of a set standard for this? ANSI doesn't really specify it.
