Catalogs

Does anyone have any experience using catalogs? Currently, we have a report that essentially has what looks like an excel spreadsheet that is populated with our CMM data. The second part of the template would be our manual inputs which also populate on the spreadsheet. No issues with the numerical inputs. However, what would be the best way to get our Pass/Fail buttons to populate on the spreadsheet with a text field "Pass" or "Fail"? Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Harrison,

Create the catalog in Attribute first.

Then we will create a catalog under the Catalog tab. Hook this up to the k value of the catalog attribute you just created.

Then add the desired entries - in this case, Pass and Fail

Then create the measurement attribute that you want to connect to the catalog.

At this point you can use the catalog in your report.

Thank you Laura! I followed the example from the basic training book and the help feature. I was trying to use "Edit attribute" in the characteristics column and it wouldn't produce the drop down menu for my "Measured Value Catalog". I had to right click "Path" and "select Column" and then it produced the pass/fail option.
