[Hu...]
I am having problems with trying to find out how to keep operators out of the automatic stylus changer menu and deleting and editing a stylus holder. I have tried to set the user privileges to run just measurement plans and they are still able to edit the automatic stylus changer. Thanks Jim
[De...]
You need to log in as the master user and set up accounts for the operators, either individual accounts or an operator account. Then assign them permissions in the CMM - Extras- User tab. There is a tab for privileges. We only allow our operators to run from autorun. [Hu...]
Desito, That is exactly what I was looking for, that will help out a lot and keep operator out of the programs. Thank You
[Hu...]
Destito, I put limited autorun rights on my users, but I am still able to get into the automatic stylus system change settings and create or delete stylus system holder. Is there possibly another setting im missing to stop this issue. Thanks Jim
[De...]
There is an option that says start/end Calypso or something like that in the autorun That will keep them out of Calypso proper. Also you have to set up calypso to launch autorun upon start up, but I have no idea where that option is. I would also not give them the change stylus option or any of the setting menu options like CMM or environment. Even our probe quals are executed via autorun by the operators. [Mi...]
Its under Extras...Environment... See pic Click the start in auto run and when the guys log on with name etc.., it will go there automatically. I have mine set up that way on the off shifts with Operator as a log on choice. The other 2 logons are pass worded out... Easy peazy
