[Ja...]
I have a cylindrical part with a plane on top and a plane on the bottom. In my base alignment, I set the Z zero to the top plane. Now I need to check the profile of the ID relative to the bottom plane and OD but when I select the bottom plane as a primary datum, it puts my tolerance zone above the top plane as seen using CAD evaluation and I get a large profile result. If I select the top plane as a datum all is good but that's the wrong plane. I can't find the reason for this. Everything looks right.
