[Me...]
We have installed PiWeb 6.6 on 14 of our computers, out of the 14 computers we have 3 that the Configure PiWeb will not connect to the PiWeb Server. The 3 computers meet the software requirements. The firewall is off on individual PCs. And I can ping the server and connect to the server using ODBC connection. Any suggestions on what I can check on these 3 Pcs that wont allow them to connect?
[La...]
Hi Julie, Is it just not finding the server when it tries to autodiscover? Have you tried entering the name of the computer directly instead? You can type in the actual address ie. https://LauraJ-PC:8080 or something to that effect. Also, try typing the IP directly, ie. http or https://12X.X.XXX.XX:8080 assuming you are using 8080 as the port. If you are going to type the IP directly make sure that the IP on the workstation is configured to be static. Hope this helps. Laura
[Me...]
Thank You Laura for your response, I just thought of that same thing when I came in this morning. I typed the address into the web browser and it is being blocked. I will get with my IT Manager when he returns from vacation. Thanks Again Julie
