[La...]
When manually calibrating on angle probes a box pops up yz xz with numbers,I hit ok and it runs, what is proper proticall
[Da...]
Can you post a screenshot ? I think its asking for the actual angle that you have on the probe, so it will center up exactly where it's supposed to rather than use your possibly skewed manual touch off. [Cl...]
If the probe in question is tilted at 45 deg, but the displayed number is slightly different (the actual angle) it probed at, then type in 45, and it should correct it's approach vector to match your entry. [Pe...]
These are projection angles. If my memory serves me, it's backward from what you'd expect and points up the probe. Imagine a vector with its origin at the center of the probe tip and pointing back along the shaft. Calypso assumes the vector is somewhere near the Z axis since you beeped your manual point within 45 degrees of the top of the qualification sphere. It is asking for the angle from the Z axis toward the Y axis (YZ projection) and the angle from the Z axis toward the X axis (XZ projection).
