Search Distance After deviation message

I am trying to use the search distance after feature for running the same program on parts of a varying length. I want to search 50mm after the nominal position of a plane. It searches down on Z, touches the part (in this case, 27mm past nominal) and gives me a popup window saying "Deviation 26.89xxxxxxx" OK or Cancel. Attached photo. I need to get rid of this message. I am going to have a robot loading and unloading the CMM. I am not going to program the robot to use the mouse.

I am using Calypso 6.4 on a DuraMax with an XXT.

Is the message in a programmable stop inside the plane feature, or is the message from PCM?

If a programmable stop, just go into the plane's strategy, and delete it. If it's something else, can't help you.

I don't have access to calypso at the moment so bare with me.

Are you using the measurement reference found in the features drop down window under projection?
If so, I don't recall getting a message but, it's been a while since I used that method of finding a position.

Other than that method, you could also set the search distance before and after probing in the measurement plan editor tab. You can set the maximum amount of distance to travel after nominal there and also the search before probing distance.

It seems to give the message when it deviates more than 20mm from nominal. I need to find where that limit is set and change it. I can't find it anywhere.

Whatever i try, i never get this message, even with deviation of -125mm. We use a Prismo Navigator with VAST Gold and Calypso 6.4.08 standard settings.

I got an answer from Zeiss. I was measuring the plane using a circle path. It does not give the message when you use a point instead. It is working now.
