Position problem

Trying to report the T/P of a small radius segment of about 60 deg. The radial surface tangent to the curve I want to probe interferes with/prevents me from probing normal to the surface. So I tried a curve recalled into a circle, constraining the radius. I've tried probing a circle and setting the A2 angle to 28.2 deg (which is what I calculated to get the probe to scan normal to it. I'm getting close, but results are a little too far from what I believe they are. Any thoughts?

In the true position characteristic have you used the special rotation to align the datum reference frame to your feature?

Other than that I can't think of what else to check..
