Combining features from different alignments

I am trying to combine 2 points from a ring in one alignment with 2 points from another ring in another alignment to create one complete circle (See Graphics.JPG). PC-DMIS has something called Equate Alignment. Does anyone know how this can be done in Calypso?

Can you measure the 4 points individually and just recall them to create a theoretical circle?
PS-the 4 points don't look like they would create a circle. Am I missing something here?

Thanks for the reply, Paul. My goal is to try to take a ring with an ID and an OD that is split into 2 halves, measure them separately and then evaluate the halves as if the were assembled by equating or overlapping the centers of the ID's.

Maybe the base alignment match (Resources > Utilities > Base Alignment Match) can do this.You would have to define a number of reference elements which must be measured manually at the 2nd ring so Calypso can shift the base alignment.
But I've never actually used it. Only read about it in the help file.
