Hi All,
This is a great forum of invaluable knowledge.
I am in the early stages of learning PiWeb. I am working on creating a new report. My question is when I drag a image block and try to loag cad file from the ToolBox tab, there is no file extension for a step file. Can the drop down list of files types be edited?

Thank you so much!

James, which version of Calypso are you using? Is it PiWeb Reporting (the version included with Calypso?)

If you are using a version older than Calypsp 2017, go to CAD > Cad File > Save.. and save as an STL file. You can't use STEP files.

If you are using Calypso 2017, the easiest way is to go Resources > Results to File > PiWeb Reporting > Configuration > Send CAD model to database now.

Then, when you add an image placeholder, click on the CAD tab, press the green plus in the right corner, click on CAD model from additional data and then you will see the object there.

My wording might be a bit off since I'm not in those screens right now, but.....should help you out.

Laura,
I am using PiWeb that was included with Calypso 2016. I am currently using a IGS file model for programming but I guess PiWeb doesn't support IGS files? Anyway, I did as you suggested and did a save as to a STL file and its working fine in PiWeb.

I am new to the PiWeb reporting but I am progressing slowly but surely. 🙂

Thank you for your reply.
