[Ca...]
I know this has been covered, but I'm better at asking, than searching. I'm looking to update Caly from 6.2 to 6.4. As best I can tell, I need to backup the folders listed in the attached image. Do I need to backup probes? I don't remember. Is there anything else???Caly Folders.PNG
[Mi...]
Take note too... When I upgraded it did NOT carry over my Sphere diameter. It put the Diam at 15.0 when its actually 14.992. I had everything out by .008. Was not a fun day. Just in case you get weird outputs. I have a master part that I run before and after any updates or upgrades. Just a Mike thing that I do lol..... [Ca...]
Thanks Mike! I'd forgotten, something similar happened when I went to 6.2. I also have an artifact I run.
[Ca...]
Everything seemed to work, until I installed SP3. Any idea what this is?Capture.JPG
[Da...]
Casey, I had this same issue when I installed Service Pack 2 for Calypso 2017. The problem seems to be with the default settings for the "Function Call" under "Numbers and shortcut definitions" when the "Auto active list" is active. The default file name calypso is looking for is called "numbshctsdef_1" when the "Auto active list" is active. If you want to get rid of the message "numbshctsdef_1", you need to turn either create your own number and shortcut definition and make that active or turn it off completely in for the "Auto active list". To turn off the the function call list go to the resources pull-down menu and look for "Function call". From here choose "Numbers and shortcut definitions" at the sub menu. Click on "File..." with the left mouse button and choose "Auto active list". Select "Off" and click on the "OK" button followed by the close button. Exit calypso (don't forget to click on the terminate button) and start calypso. I created my own function call list (I chose to use "Number Function Call") to use as little shortcuts. The reason why I did this is because I like to use shortcut keys to execute commands like in the old DOS days.
