Is Calypso 5.6 capable with Windows 10?

Actually, what is the lowest version of Calypso that can be used with Windows 10?

5.6 should run.

I'm not for sure what the lowest is (probably around 5.4 because I think that's when they changed the user file directory).

I'm running 5.4.28 right now for project I'm doing for a customer. 5.6.24 only list Windows 7 as supported. That doesn't mean it won't run but it does mean it might not load/run correctly and Zeiss cannot support you for this. I don't remember Win 10 being supported before 6.0. You can go to the Software Download site -- https://sdp.metrology.zeiss.com
and dl any and all release notes. Scroll down to the Compatibility section and there will be a list of supported OS's

Calypso 5.6 and Windows 10 have not been tested together. You may experience problems and you may not. No technical support from ZEISS will be available if you run 5.6 on windows 10 should you have problems.

I've heard you can downgrade a windows 10 professional system to run on a windows 7 professional system but, have not done it myself.

I've thought about doing it at home but, I don't have a windows 7 professional license and the $ purchase of that system has kept me from doing it.
