[Da...] Posted November 13 Share Posted November 13 Hello all. I am trying to get a Linear Size check on a slotted hole so that I can apply a MMR to it in a datum system. The issue is that I cannot perform a linear check because of “The combination of operators for the linear size is invalid” after speaking with a zeiss applications engineer they were unable to apply it either, and said it was either a software limitation or the GD&T itself is incorrect. [Ch...] Posted November 13 Share Posted November 13 Hello, Usage of a slotted hole under material requirement for a datum system is not (yet) supportet. We have a feature request issue but we can not say when we can realize this feature. Usage of a slotted hole under material requirement for the tolerance is supported. For this purpose please create a width and a length check on the slotted hole instead of a linear size check. Afterwards it should be possible to create a tolerance under material requirement.
