Unfortunately, there isn´t an evaluation of radial runout to two datums. I have only found evaluations of the position for functional check - ISO, ASME. In both evaluations, the plane is defined as the Outer tangential Plane. There are also defined the axial/radial runout but only to one datum. [Ma...] Posted November 14 Share Posted November 14 An elegant solution to this is to construct a "perpendicular" using the OT cylinder as feature 1 and the OT plane as feature 2. The constructed perpendicular can then be used as a single datum that functions exactly as the dual datum for any characteristic. Assuming |A| is plane and |B| is cylinder I call the perpendicular A.B so it makes it easy to understand.
