Zeiss Trial Activation for Reverse Engineering

I understand this is off topic for this forum but i cannot find any forum for Reverse Engineering. I have downloaded and activated the trial license for Reverse Engineering, however the trial is for version 3.0.1 which is not in use as the only downloadable versions are 3.0.4 and 2.8.4. How do I use the trial license?

Install the 2.8.4  license. You should be able to run any version up to 3.0.1
