True Position Angled Hole Special Rotation

Hello. I am pretty new to Calypso. When creating a true position characteristic is it necessary to rotate the DRF to the axis of the hole using "Special -> Rotate by Angle"

For example, if I have a hole at an angle. First, I create a cylinder or circle in the hole. Then, when I create a true position characteristic I know this works: Datum reference frame=Base Alignment and then "Special -> Rotate by Angle." However, is there any easier way where I don't have to input the rotation of the hole? Perhaps "Alignment of the feature?"

Thanks!

If you aren't needing to report any basic dimensions, switch the Shape Of Zone to Polar - this will switch the tolerance zone to be parallel to the nominal axis of the feature.

In addition, if you use the new GD&T engine, it will automatically do this for you.
