CAD models joining automatically

We often import fixturing into our CAD so that the operator knows how to hold the part and programming can avoid fixturing off-line. Since we updated to 2024, the models for our parts and fixtures are joining bodies automatically and randomly making one entity in the CAD hierarchy. This necessitates reloading our CAD if a fixture is changed. How do we stop this from happening?

I don't have 2024 but I have found in prior versions if you use the healing function it will join your part and fixture.

Good point. I should have said we do not heal our models when the fixture and part are together. We do join bodies together under the hierarchy window in the Modify CAD Entities window, but not when both models are present.

I think freeform will do this to your models sometimes. Not sure what triggers it.
