[Et...] Posted December 27, 2024 Share Posted December 27, 2024 Hi, I have a ATOS I 2M white light scanner. I start noticing the scanner size(dimensions) has quite deviate from hard measurement of Target. For example, I quick scanned a 123 Block and result that the scanned size are 2.988 Inches for "3 inches edges". I also tried cylinder and got -0.006" for diameters. Looks like the scanned part is shrink in size. I went through re-calibration but not solving the issue. P.S. My measure volume is 120X96mm^2, should be a small and accurate setup. Check the alignment of the scanner and the object, as misalignment can cause errors. If re-calibration fails, inspect the scanner's optics and sensors for dirt or damage, and confirm that the software is up to date. [Ja...] Posted February 18 Share Posted February 18 Please sign in to view this username. this could get complicated in my view... This system and software are really quite old by now. The scale on coded panels are defined between particular coded markers in the corners of the panel. Ithe high deviation is checking these two scale values to each other. Although in inches it is a little suspicious that the distances are equal nominally - i would definitely check the definition of the panel.
