Circle on Sphere

How to develop a circle on Sphere by using CAD model.

I see three ways:

• Using feature "Sphere" and strategy circle
• Using CAD -> Modify ... -> intersection with plane
• Using CAD -> Modify ... -> intersection with cylinder

You can also section the model via CAD - Create Features - Section.  Once you section the desired area you can select a portion of that section through Creation to create the feature.

I like both Martin and Shawn's suggestions.

I tend to use the section tool for tasks like this one because I have a visual representation of the feature in the CAD hierarchy afterwards that I can reference and create subsequent features for.

I concur with the section and creation of geometry via CAD drop down menu>Creating Features.. lots of good stuff in there for advanced users (check out YouTube for tutorials on free form and curve).
