[ca...]
Hello everyone, I have an application which uses an .exe file to trigger and run the python script developed in ZEISS Inspect 2022. I need to run the ZEISS Software in silent mode during the process without opening project templates for recalculation task etc. Is it possible to make such things happen in 2022 version? I would like to underline that what I mean from silent run is main operating mode not the installation mode. Thanks, Canset Edited December 30, 2024
[DW...]
Can you be more specific? What are you trying to accomplish with the Python script?
[Ma...]
Hi Please sign in to view this username. , did you see Software and script starting options — Add-On Documentation. Even if this chapter was written for ZEISS INSPECT 2023, the command line parameters should be available in GOM Inspect 2022 as well. [ca...]
Hello Mathias, I checked the starting options but couldn't find what I'm looking for. What I want to ask is basically is it possible to run the ZEISS Inspect without displaying its UI when performing a simple recalculation task? If running ZEISS app without displaying its GUI is possible (in another way of saying starting the software in the background), then I need to find a way to do that. [Ma...]
Hi Please sign in to view this username. , I'm afraid ZEISS INSPECT cannot be executed without GUI. Best regards, Matthias
[ca...]
Hello Matthias, Actually, the reason why we need silent operation is the periodic sign-out of the user. The user account which runs the Python script and exe should sign-out periodically due to security concerns. In that case, I need to make sure that my script still continue to work and perform inspection. We thought that it may require silent operation to ensure script working but maybe you can offer something different to solve this problem.
