[Cl...]
I've been struggling with a program passing a simple type-1 GRR (1 part on/off the fixture 10x). The surface profile would not get below 20%. The initial base alignment used a symmetry plane for its clocking. After several attempts and no improvement. I changed the clocking to a 3d line form two circles. Surface profile now <10%. I had no idea such a minor change could have such a dramatic result.
[DW...]
Just for giggles if you have time, instead of a symmetry plane does changing it to just symmetry yield the same results?
[Cl...]
My mistake. It was a symmetry.
[DW...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I have had the same issue before with not having a robust clocking feature. Took me a while to learn how important that is when getting repeatable accurate measurements.
