Programmatically edit CMM program to change "Measuring Points" Counter.

Is there a specific file I can read to find the counter for saving measure points (ZMP files)?

I have about 100 plus files I want to change the value in without having to open, edit, save, close.

If this is possible, I would write a VBS app to perform the editing.

Not sure I understand this completely...You want to replace a value in 100 ZMP files?

He wants to turn it on.

Richard, take a look inside inspset file, (NOT the same as inspection) the line

#(
#maxFilesMeasPoints ' ->' 99999)

But I'm unsure this is all. Please test and report back.

Best Regards,

Dane

DWC

Replace the current counter value, ZMP files is already enabled.

The string you provided (#maxFilesMeasPoints) seems to work, I was able to replace the value in one program correctly.

I am an avid user of NotePad++. 😉

Thanks to all.
