Report without paper

Hi,

For somes reasons, my boss wants to don't use paper anymore for the calypso's report. We are used to control between 1 and an hundred part per production  and use text element to complet the report with other instrument of control. And we don't have piweb. 

 

Is it a way to record automaticaly basic repport ? to record in a different folder good part and bad part ?

Are there someone among you who don't use paper, what are the good practices ?

thats works, I can generate automaticaly a PDF in a folder, I don't know if i'll create a unic folder, a folder by ref, a folder by ref& order. I will see.

now the question/problems  is, we use a lot of "element text" in our reports (control of thread, control column, caliper etc) how do you handle with this in a solution 100% informatic ?

I have a few programs where I went into checking thread with GO-NOGO and roughness - I used result element with inquireNumber and inquireText ( i preffered Text, for replacing decimal point due language and so on ). If you want this approach I can post links where i describe that.
