Cilinder mesh fitting

Hello,

I need to fitting element for a nominal cilinder, but sometimes the mesh is far from the nominal and the software doesn't recognize it.

I tried to change the parameter max distance, but when I disable "Compute Max distance automatically" it lose the link with nominal element.

I can pick the cilinder by select the mesh region manually, but I don't know if it will lose the parametric.

Hello Eduardo,

if the mesh is too far away you might want to create an alignment for the calculation of this element:

The mesh data looks a bit noisy on your screenshot, so it might not help in this case but you have to try to improve the scan data.
