Is it possible to only measure certain iterations of a pattern?

I have a program that uses a patter to measure a series of holes.

I want to make a mini plan to only check my first and last hole. I tried to make a mini plan using characteristics that only use first/ last hole, but when I run the mini plan it probes every single hole in the patter and only has the first/last in the report.

Is this possible? Or will Calypso always measure every iteration in a pattern if any one part of that pattern is referenced.

Just kidding. I had an alignment I didn't account for activating the entire pattern. Selecting the specific iteration of the pattern does run just that iteration.

Also, if you just delete those parts you don't want from the Characteristics window, it won't measure them. I guess as long as the pattern of holes isn't a datum, that should work.

Right-click on the feature and select "Check use of selected feature". It will list every characteristic, alignment, construction that uses that circle.  If your mini-plan includes any of those items, other than the one related to only the 1st and last circle, that's probably why.
