[Em...]
The instructions in the Calypso and Gearpro programs do not help me personally, so they would need to be analyzed and refined. In... Zeiss\calyipso 7.8\protocol\protform we have userfields.ini where we have an example [Fieldnames] u_partnumber ... [u_partnumber] name=part number editMode=true runMode=true selectiveList=false editable=true defaultValue= how is it written that in the Gearpro header it is written under number 6. I added userfields.txt to the folder, where it is written... u_gear_company.... ... u_gear_comment03;u_partumner,R what do I need to change so that Gearpro starts without interruptions and when I enter the part number in Calypso, it is on the PDF and in the .dfq file from Gearpro? [Ky...]
Hello Emiljan, I believe what you need to do is set up the userfields.txt (not the ini file) for the Calypso header fields (rename the ini file to something like abc_userfields.ini, just to make sure it doesn't interfere with anything). From there, you can go into the setup menu for Gear Pro, select the check box for "Load CALYPSO protocol variables instead of variables with "u_gear_comment"" and then click on the yellow button next to it. From there you can enter the "u" value for the parameter next to the gear pro comment you want it to use. Finally, in the Gear Pro program, go to the workpiece documentation, select "Use CALYPSO protocol data for documentation area", click on yes on the pop up that asks if a CALYPSO program has been run (even if it hasn't, the tab labelled "CALYPSO protocol data" will appear) and then in that tab you can click on the "read titles from file" button. This is the easiest method I have found for getting CALYPSO protocol fields into Gear Pro.
