XXT TL1 to XXT TL3

We are looking at upgrading the TL1 head to a TL3 on one of our O-Inspects as a technician noted that the TL1 appeared to be near it's end of service life. I have a question regarding this that I didn't think to ask while the tech was here. What is the process for this swap? The tech mentioned the swap itself was pretty straightforward, so is it really just swap heads, move the stylus systems to TL3 plates, requalify and then we are good to go?
