[Pr...] Posted February 24 Share Posted February 24 Dear sir, we have the issue that if temperature is 20-21 degree then Outer dia. dimension increases & if temperature is 27-29 degree then Outer dia. dimension Decreases. on CMM inspection Please suggest or any solution or feedback on above issue in order to improve the measurement. [Ma...] Posted February 24 Share Posted February 24 Temperature is having affect on every dimension. Part is shrinking with lower temp and growing with rising temp. How much is given by material. If you have enabled temp. compensation, then it should not affect your measurement if your temp. coeficient is correct ( for given material ) Without temp. comp. you should have smaller dia on smaller temp and bigger dia on bigger temp.
