This principle is for features punched through single sheet metal where the edges of the metal are too thick to scan. As this hole has some depth then the strategy will be to scan the cylinders and most likely create an offset section to measure the appropriate diameter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
[Ge...] Posted February 27 Share Posted February 27 We use threaded adapter tools from Witte, that can be either threaded to capture the pitch diameter of the threads or solid to locate off the minor diameter, we order them with a "matte" finish for scanning.
