KMIGO.DLL FileDownloadFromCMM Error on O-Inspect 863

Hello everyone,

I am new to the Zeiss forums and would like to get the community's opinion on the KMIGO.DLL error that I am encountering.

Every time I boot up Calypso (7.4), I encounter a KMIGO.DLL error at the start of bootup. The error says "Unable to open destination file". Please see attached screenshot. This coincidentally happened when my local IT department decided to move some files around because of "backup". Because of this, the OI863 traffic light window does not switch to the current probe that I currently have. As an example, I would boot up Calypso with a 3mm probe tip, receive the KMIGO.DLL error, clicking Cancel to suppress the message, and when switching to a different size probe tip, the OI863 traffic light still displays the 3mm probe tip despite the controller showing the current probe.

This is not a big deal when running inspection files that has pure tactile strategies, but since we have an O-Inspect, as I create a Base Alignment with features used with a probe and then switching to the optical/camera, the optical CMM portion does not "remember" the Base Alignment that I have set up, giving us position values that is based off of the global CMM coordinates and not the coordinate system I have built from the Base Alignment.

I have looked up forums and guides that has the KMIGO.DLL errors, but none of the solutions (pinging CMM IP address, etc.) does not seem to work. My bet is that something happen during the file "backup" that our local IT department did, and files within the Config folder moved, hence the error message "Unable to open destination file" and the Stylus system not updating to a current equipped probe.  A similar issue was happening to my PiWeb program where my template files were all gone. This was fixed when I had to dig through a bunch of folders and relocate the files.

Has anyone encountered this issue? Does anyone know this "destination file", or the name of this specific file that the KMIGO.DLL error is referring to? Assuming that it is a matter of a specific file being relocated to a different folder, does anyone know the "proper" folder the file should be?

Thank you so much for reading and thank you so much in advance.
