[An...]
Hi Rich, I am making a few assumptions. Primarily, that you just want to display a form plot on the Standard Protocol that populates after a measurement completes. If you only need to see the form plot under specific circumstances, you can toggle it on and off on a case by case basis. With the Standard Protocol open, click the icon that looks like a gear. If you mouse over it, it will say "Replace row protocol templates". Click this, and a new window will pop up. Click the radio button labeled "Detailed" under Row Template. Any characteristics with form data will now include their form plots. Before (Default is selected, only numbers displayed): After (Detailed is selected, plots are displayed): If you want to control this on a program by program basis, in CALYPSO go to Multiple Report and click the check box labeled "Exchange Row Template". If this is active for a given program, the default setting will be to display the form plots. Let me know if I've misunderstood. I'll do what I can to provide accurate instructions. 1

[An...]
Please sign in to view this quote. PiWeb Reporting: Automatically Display Plots Written by Rita Schwieters How to Display Plots manually after the run (Default) Without changing any settings, the Standard Protocol will show all results. No plots will display, but they can be toggled on. Figure 1 Standard Protocol with Default Settings To turn on inline plots. Click the roundness icon on the top right and change the selection to “Detailed.” All form plots are displayed. You can select only certain plots by using the filter options like only characteristics out of tolerance or by setting a name filter. These settings are only active for the current session; they will not apply to future reports. Figure 2 Showing plots for only selected characteristics. Case: Always show plots inline for certain ‘critical’ characteristics If there are certain characteristics that should always display plots, this can be set in the Calypso program. Figure 3 Always show inline plots for select characteristics. In the Multiple Printouts window, Exchange row template turns on the inline plots. If Activate plot filter is selected, only characteristics that are set to “on” will display a plot. You can customize which characteristic should display plots, using the “Display plots in report” button. Figure 4 Customize report settings in Characteristic Settings Editor. In this example only the characteristic 16_LineProfile_0.2 will display a plot. The rest will not display. Case: Show full-page plots at the end Full page can be added to the end of the report. This requires opening the report in PiWeb Designer and unhiding the full-page plots. Edit the report, go to the pages tab, right click on page 3 “Plot,” and select unhide. Full page plots will now show at the end of the report. Their behavior with the “Exchange row template” options will be the same as inline plots. Figure 5 After un-hiding the full-page plots, display settings can be customized just like the inline plots. Case: Set full-page plots to be “on” by default. If all reports need to display full page plots, but no inline plots, it’s necessary to modify the report. Figure 6 Full-page plot showing rows classified as "Detailed." In Designer, open page 3 of the Standard protocol. In the Page structure tab, the Protocol table and each row is shown. Note that each row says (Detailed.) The “Exchange row template function” switches between the “default” and “detailed” views. The full page plots have no “default” view, so nothing displays unless the plots are turned on in the Calypso program. To change this behavior highlight all rows, go to properties, and change the “Template alternative” to default. Figure 7 If the template alternative is "Default," plots will display automatically. Figure 8 All rows now say (Default) at the end. When the report is displayed, if “Exchange row template” is selected, the full-page plots will turn off. With this setting, inline and full-page plots will exhibit opposite behavior. Case: Speed up data transfer – No Plots Ever. In Calypso 2019 it is possible to stop the plot data from transferring to the database. No plots will be viewed in the report and it will not be possible to view plots of historical data. This option can significantly improve the process time at the end of the run. In Calypso go to Extras – Settings – Environment. In the PiWeb Reporting tab there are options to turn on/off the transfer of certain data to the database. Figure 9 Environment settings to stop transfer of plot data and improve processing time.
