Please reach out to your local sales representative or your aftermarket specialist (if you know who that is), and let them know which one you'd like to add and they will supply a quote to you for adding it.

As Richard Shomaker suggested, you'll need the license for each convertor and will have to purchase it.

However, from a past experience, be careful when choosing a convertor tied to one cad system like Solidworks. It's been 12 years since we tried the Solidworks converter and while it worked for a bit, every time we upgraded Calypso or Solidworks, one wouldn't be compatible with the other, seems like they were a year or more apart.

ACIS (*SAT) files have always worked really well for us saved from several cad systems. Some use IGES, SAB, STP as well.

Zeiss wouldn't like this answer, but I've found  it's generally easier to use whatever other CAD software your company has to simply export in STP or SAT format to behind with rather than buying individual converters

We have license for IGES, but i prefer to get models as SAT ( ACIS ) because it's text version of SAB, which Calypso works, so no additional license.

.step, and .sab are your go-to's as the other smart guys said. Instead of saving as a .SLDPRT, try .AP203 (it has minimal 'clutter' and seems to transition into multiple other programs without trouble).

We never had much trouble with the NX converters. They were always up to date in the most current Calypso release and worked well most of the time.

Of course I can't speak for the other converters. All of them are 3rd party products (i.e. not developed by Zeiss), because the ACIS CAD core is made by Spatial and only features some Zeiss-specific extensions, like the proprietary format of SSC stylus files. SAT/SAB is of course the most reliable choice, as it is Spatial's own creation.

It really is a small world.

Spatial Corp is a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, who also owns CATIA and Solidworks.
